A week to go to rockband! Well for the 360 anyway. Yep I know it's expensive but whose got it ordered? Anyone just buying the solus for guitar hero type play?

I'm really looking forward to spending those points on some great DLC.

Cannot wait to play the Oasis and Blur tracks with the Z5500's rattling the windows ;)

Oh and whupping Wyrdo on the drums :p
 
Pre-ordered and ready to ROCK!

I think I'm going to need to buy another 2100 points card or two to get all the songs I want.

I like the fact this is the £££ Unofficial £££ thread :p

Everyone knows it's a bit expensive, I thought I'd point it out before everyone else did ;)

The achievement list is a bit better than GH3 as well. For an average player I think there's more chance of the achievements giving me something to aim for rather than GH3 where 800 points out of 1000 are way out of my reach and give me little to aim for.

Why not just buy the solus and enjoy more guitar hero'ness type play? Plus you get far far better DLC and support. New track packs have been added every week for the last 18 weeks.
 
Bought GHIII for the 360 and stuck RB on the rental list.

Did have it ordered till I realised the instruments weren't even wireless, and you only got 1 guitar. Rip off.
 
I have £70 vouchers for a local exchange shop, so when they get it in stock (hopefully release week) I'll get it from there. I only want the game and the drums.

Not bothered about DLC for this type of game, and I assume solus means game-only? I only have a Wii GH3 controller, so unless it comes out on that then I wont be playing it.
 
I'm getting the instrument pack for £94.99 delivered and I have a gift card for a big high street store which I'll use to buy the actual game with.

Yes it's expensive but if you ask me it's better value for money that GH3 was.

I have ordered the Solus edition and will most likely pick up the Drums at somepoint down the line. I'm not interested in the singing part at all although I realise it may be fun with mates round. I really like the amount of DLC available and I hope they continue to release it at a decent rate.
 
I'll be picking up the solus edition on or around release. Finished and sold GHII and reached an impasse in GHIII (Lou on Hard) so I'm looking forward to something fresh.
 
I've got the set coming my way too. Really lookign forward to it actually!

Loads of DLC to get as well, so it's going to be a long weekend :)

We'll have to have a game at some point danny and the rest of ya!

Sure thing, I have 4 days off after it's release and I shall be hammering it :)

I shall be taking it into work on nights as well as everyone loved GH :D

I did think about just getting the solus and the drums at a later date but the mrs loves singstar with her mates so thought what the hell, it's only money ;)

My Mrs is hooked on GH now as well, so I can co-op with her.
