Hi,

i've download and added the stacklet addon to the docklet folder. I've added it to the dock by right clicking and choosing "add item > Stack Docklet".

Following the instructions from the thread on their site I've then right clicked the icon that appears and choose icon settings.

What do I choose as the folder and the icon? If I choose Rocketdock folder and the default Icons folder, when I click on the icon in the dock it just opens the images of icons.

Can someone help me sort this out? Thanks

What i've done is create folders inside the stacksdocklet folder that you put into rocketdock, just so its all together.
Create a folder inside name it whatever you want and the put the shortcuts into that folder, next under icons settings find that folder, the icon can be whatever you want depending on whats in the folder.

So in one of my stacksdoclets I have it directed to this folder C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Docklets\StackDocklet\StackDocklet Folders and icons\DVD (except I don't have a space between the 'e' and the 't' in docklet, dunno whats up with that)
And have these shortcuts in there

If you have download different icons like I have, you will have to put them into the rocketdocks icon folder.

yep for each stacks docklet you need to make a folder somewhere and put the shortcuts you want for that stack in that folder. then point rocketdock to this folder when making a stack and select a suitable icon. Job done. Good to add your own icons in program files/rocketdock/icons.

Got it, thanks guys. :)

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure. I've created an Office stacklet and have one icon in the dock (the office icon). When you click this, Excel, Word and outlook appear but they are using regular icons. How can I change these to the office icons I downloaded??

So the icons in the stacksdocklet are the regular ones not the ones you have donwloaded?
Like in my pic, there the normal ones, that's what you have and want to change?
If so, as there just shortcuts you'll have to open the folder containing the shortcuts, right click - properties - change icon.

Or upload a pic of whats going on.

Kind of, I've got one stacklet and have allocated an 'office reflection' icon to that. It points to a folder full of office shortcuts such as word, excel, outlook etc. The folder that has the shortcuts in has assigned the default office icons to the shortcuts.

When I right click the shortcuts and say "change icon" I get taken to that system32 location. If I browse to the icon folder in rocket dock where all my pngs are based it says "no icons exist in this location"

AFAIK you can't use png's for icons, for windows anyway.
Post the link for the icons and I'll convert them for you.

Oh rocketdocks site, so there individual downloads and not a pack?

Ah just seen this, looks good http://www.convertico.com/

Or download this http://icofx.ro/ you can then convert a all of them at once, which will probably be easier.

Sorted, cheers mate.

first link was shocking as it butchered the image. Second one kept the icon transparent and keeps it looking real nice.
