just seen this trailer for the first time. cant believe its been out so long and ive just seen it :eek:

looks like the greatest movie ever really.

slightly disgusted at the uk release date. released before christmas in US but not till 19th Jan over here :/

dont they realise i want to watch this film right now
 
I read in Empire that people who have seen early screenings say you shouldn't be surprised if it's nominated for an Oscar... how surprising is that? I would love for this film to be great.

Stallone is a excellent director, so i wouldnt be suprised at all.
 
Maybe if you know the business, but to people like me who don't and just assume the normal stance of 'the old man must be bored and/or running out of money' then it does come as a surprise!!

Like I say though, more power to Stallone if it comes out as good as he intended.
 
im sure he made every effort to make sure this film stands up to the rest of the series.

he doesnt need the cash, and theres no way he'd cash in on rocky if he did.

one thing ive gathered when reading about stallone is that he puts an amazing amount of time and effort into every project he's involved with.

im sure the new Rambo film, to be released in 2008 will be brilliant as well.
 
He definitely put a lot of time into this project. MGM took forever to green light it and he just kept pushing for it. Rewrite after rewrite, trying to perfect it. I'm looking forward to see it.

Second Trailer was released a while ago but it hasnt been posted here, so if anyones interested: Second Trailer

I know its a Rocky film and people think it will be the usual, he gets pounded then wins in the end of the fight, and I hope it is. I just hope they dont make him lose in it

And ps. Release date here has been put back to Febuary the 9th

Proper looking forward to this, but hoping against all hope that its nowhere near as bad as Rocky V.

That one was probably the poorest of the lot except V.
 
Cant wait for this!

Seriously want to watch a rocky film in cinema. Shame rocky 1 was before my time. Friends and Family have said that when they saw rocky 1 in the cinema people were up cheering!

Rocky V was sooooo not worth watching in the cinema - I would put that down as the worst Rocky ever and a complete waste of space. (Plus to add salt to the wounds I watched it in a cinema in Paris full of........ THE FRENCH! :eek: )
