The thread title kind of contradicts the emoticon but I can't help but both, feel so ****** up and laugh!

Doing three courses
Maths
Physics
Graphics

Maths revision is going gold
Graphics revision is going gold
Physics revision is going so baaaad it's unbelievable

I've tried and tried to do as much exam papers, exam style questions under timed conditions but I can't never seem to get more than about 40 - 50 %, which is what? An E? D at best?

LoL! Guess i'm at college for another year retaking physics! :(

Feel's **** tbh.

I'm going to keep going, doing as many questions as possible before Thurs's exam but I know, it's no point!

Oh well, life's a *****, and I only just found out now! :(

with physics it really pays to revise with others.

Trust me, i did A-level physics and we had about 5 lads in a group, we all walked away with A's and A*'s.

You can bounce the questions of each other, some people take certain parts of physics in better than others. For instance, i couldnt grasp electrics but did really well at anything space related.

I'm a fool then. I work a thousand times better when im revising on my own for Maths and Graphics, I got offered to come to the library with a few mates for physics and refused!

I got an H in one of my courses: 4% - it was better than I expected, wish I'd taken easy things in first year, not interesting ones. messed things up for 2nd year

I was the same, A-level further maths i revised on my own and did well, i couldnt take graphics because they lost my coursework at GCSE and left me with a no mark :(

Geography and Psychology i revised alone and in groups, but i just could never get into the mindset to revise physics on my own.

My advice would be to keep at the revision. It will probably go better than you think in the exam. Just make sure you use all the time you have to get the best grade possible.

If you work your hardest now, and make sure you get loads of practice before the test, you will do much better than you are saying (grade E or D).

Put the effort in now!

Im doing maths physics and electronics..

Lets say maths is my worst subject....

For the last year I haven't done any work for it, so i don't know what to do for C4 i look in past papers and i just feel sad, no point crying and revising now so im going to get a U, C3 i retook and it seemed 'ok'. M2 well lets just say I'm suppose to be revising.
HOWEVER, i still have Physics; forces and motion retake to revise for(and also a bit of cosmology), so not until Thursday.

ahh joys of being lazy :p

Blimey, you must have been good if they had to invent a grade to give to you :p

We had them put in grades by the teachers instead of just % marks, something to do with the school being able to say we got so many at such and such a level to the parent committee etc.

Id have to dig my certs out for the % marks an tbh i have no idea where they are.

Maths C4 is killing me and i got it this thursday....:(

I think i had to resit 3 of my maths modules, it took me a while to make the move from GCSE maths to Alevel maths.

wtf dude you cant get A* only A.

How long until you actually sit the exam? If it is tomorrow then I can possibly understand the defeatist attitude but otherwise I think you are throwing in the towel a little early. There is no harm in being realistic (sometimes even slightly pessimistic) but if you are convinced you are going to fail then the chances are good that you will, it becomes almost a self-fulfilling prophesy so think positive and do as much as you can to improve.

Good luck. :)

Did you read any of the rest of the thread? He explained how they gave him an equivalent of the percentage as if it were still graded allowing an A*.
