It is an ACPI device on the motherboard that Vista has detected. It's a common issue and one that I experienced with my Abit AWD9-MAX mobo. It turned out to be the uGuru monitoring chip. So I downloaded its installation files and just pointed the unknown hardware properties page to the location of the driver files and Vista happily installed them.
