I'm currently in the process of trying to completely re-design the site at the moment, because it's shockingly awful and takes far too long to maintain. Once it's all done, you should (hopefully) be able to upload your own pics, so that all I need to do is approve them :D For this reason, I will not be adding any new pics at present, because they'd just end up getting taken down again when I wipe the slate clean.

Just waiting on a bit of info from someone at the moment, so I can kickstart it all off. Watch this space... :)

I do wonder if a self upload thing wont invite a lot of foolish fools to post obscene pics :o the maturity level of some posters isnt that high. Will it be tied to username?

Yes indeed it will, and will require an email address from users too. I will be moderating every photo that gets posted :)
 
Glad you're still doing it Kate :) I saw a message on the front page a couple of weeks ago saying it was going to be someone else doing it

As we have a semi-piccy thread - I demand all those who are new to the bbq meet this year post a piccy so I can start trying to work out what names go with what faces :o

Good luck to ya. I can't remember names at all, let alone nicks with actual people.



Back on topic: I just might have to come up with a new piccie for the gallery. :)
 
I'm really good at recognising faces I've only seen once or twice but I'm hopeless with names esp if there are two names to learn (screen and RL)

My theory is that if I start now I might remember a few by the time we get to August (they'll probably be the people I've already met but at least I'm trying :o )
 
^ I hear ya. I could most definitely name most the girls on this forum if I met them in RL, if they have a piccie in Rogues (typical male). Only a few of the guys, though. If I can ever make it out there for a meet, I would study also. :)

:eek: I remembered your RL name, I must like you ;)

I try to do the same before meets i.e. I look at the attendee list and see if they have piccies in the rogues gallery and try to remember them - rarely works for me though, I hope you have more luck.

not been to a meet before, am currently learning to drive so maybe one day... also hopefully by then i will have been in a picture i actually like enough to put on the rogues gallery :p
