**Roll Call for all BattleField 2142 Players**

Ok guys i have more details for you...

Sunday 22nd is when the match will take place.

8pm is the time

We will play:

Shuhia as the titan map

and

Camp Gib. as conquest map.


Hopefully everyone who has put their name down can play so get practising guys :D


BTW: It will be 15vs15 so once we have 15 players thats it we dont need any more

I can only play if its Tues, thu or maybe fri night, after that I'll be in Greece for two weeks :)
 
Schveet, if EA Link actually works by then I'll be good to go, more worried about my clan match tonight if EA Link won't install 2142 for me :eek: .

Anyone else unable to connect on EA Link (Knew I shoulda bought a hard copy of the game :rolleyes: )
 
Hi folks,

We will need a 10 minute break between the games, as I need to change the profile of the server to cater for a Titan match, after our Conquest game.

Ok when is the practice and what time.

And what time is the match on Sunday. The kids dont go off to slepp till 8pm.

I count 13: only 1 slot remaining? Also, practice times people? What method of communication most of you using? msn/xfire/ingame

You can take ludix off there dude, he's off to greece so he can't make the sunday.

Ive never played Shubia (well maybe once) (enough players for titan?)

Is gibraltar the smallest conquest map? because its only 15 v 15

Im guessing thats the team numbers to safeguard that there will be enuff people to play?


Also it might be an idea for practice: to split team up into smt like

1. Assault (balls out rushing killing machines who kill and kill some more)

2. Assault support: ie Medics keep everyone alive. (me :D)

3. Snipers (assaulters? or spotters who hold points?)

4. Commander? Whos the best OcUK commander out there? :)

5. Walker killers (engineers )

i can do either sniper or assault based as ive played both a lot. Suck at everything else.

But if its only 15 v 15 then thats either 3 squads of 5 (inc commander: they allowed to fight?)


1st squad assaults every point. Moves onto next assault point once 2nd squad is in place holding the gained outpost.

2nd squad secures each point and is sent by the commander to weak spots?

3rd Squad lays down defence everywhere, at each point. Defends each point.

4 squads of 4 would be better (16 or 17 each side)

4th squad another assault squad.

i dunno im just rambling here. :D What does everyone else think.
 
The BFB boys have put up their list of the squad who will face you. It's a fairly formiddable list.

Craxxion should know most of them and will be able to fill you in on the players you are playing. 5 of them are pure titan players and the rest conquest players.

The 5 players to look out for.

1. CAllemin he plays both conquest and titan mode. Extremely good player. You can bet he will be leading his squad. When the titan shields drop he always attacks.

2. Russ is the walker/lambert (apm) whore. Don't let him get in a walker;)

3. Martin 9887 On conquest he's a good player but is when he gets into a gunship that he is deadliest. I would rate him one of the top three at BFB who's their best at gunships. He also loves defending when the shields drop.

4. MG the man is a one man nade spam unit. Very sneaky and clever player. He only learnt last week that support classes have guns....

5. XneonlighterX another conquest and titan player. He can attack or defend. Chances are he will be leading the second squad.

how come you arent playing?

and if Russ was the one in the walker the other day when i was playing on tunis i think... God help us lollll. Think he had 30 or 40 kills to 1 death in the walker.

I find the best way to win titan is this

Keep the silo's in your control by using the AIR, a decent pilot and gunner can rule the skies

If your sheild is down, have a few recon classe's - APM mines in the entrance points

Support class - Setup shield and camp the overhead walkways

Assault - If you have those rockets you can stop pretty much anybody coming from the walkways

Get into emergency pod, shoot out and land back on your own titan and you can kill a good 5 enemies coming through - I knife em all in publics :D

Now for attacking i have no idea :D
 
im deffinately there on sunday :) be afraid..........

only kidding i,ll prolly get my ass kicked especially on conquest :(
