We are thinking hard about the next Rollercoaster Tycoon game on PC. We have a question for you, our loyal fanbase. How ready are you for the next Rollercoaster Tycoon? In the years since the last version, what are the key features you’ve dreamed about for the next release? What would make you rush out, buy it, and keep playing it? We’d like to know!

Oh god yes! Please make it!

Not going to read through that large old thread over on atari, but I'd love to see the ability to make rollercoasters like in No Limits and then properly ride them. Being able to make your own scenery and stuff in 3dsmax/Maya would also be awesome!
 
can you imagine the ammount of dlc potential for a game like rollercoaster tycoon though...

i suspect thats the real reason theyre considering it

I had no idea there was even a 2 or 3! :p

I remember having an epic park in the original and almost ruined it when I made a custom rollercoaster go a bit too fast and fired some people off the end of it :o
 
Wasn't really a fan of number 3, 2 how ever is amazing!! :D

Would be awesome if they made another one.
 
3 was abysmal. It completely killed all the fun of the first 2 for me. Too much emphasis on 'looking good' in the new 3D over Isometric that it just didn't seem fun anymore. I can't put my finger on the speicifics really but the atmosphere was so bland.
Oh, and the tutorials and the controls were all over the place -_-
 
3D RCT sucks big time, I still have RCT and RCT 2 plus the expansion packs on my win 7 PC as they are far far superior to anything in 3D

They really need to revert back there, 3D is awful i really loved the original ones and want them to go back but i would still buy this if one was released
 
no one would die in RCT 3 , rollercoaster crash or drowning. Also half the time people wouldn't ride anything. Amazing coasters and half empty queues! , This was never a problem in 1 or 2, Funny how they kept on trying to fix it with ai patches
 
My favourite will allways be with the original, just so many happy times playing it through when i first bought it in 99 to the day even now.

For me i can't hate on the third game, might not have been to everybodys taste, but it had the same fun of the fair non the less, a lot of what i liked about the original was present reguardless of the 3d.

Love a 4th incarnation, in 6 years we've had quite a bump in processing power, could be something realy special:)
 
A new Rollercoaster Tycoon based on RCT2 would be awesomeeeeeeee, just like everybody else the 3D just ruined it for me on RCT3.
