is there any digital (ie online) copies of this, that one could buy, and it will work on win7. my CD was lost during a housemove and i really want to play this.

I don't believe so. It does work on Win 7 (I have it installed

Just pick up a 2nd hand copy for about 99p...

saving and loading? when i had it on vista it would save but not load

only saving and loading issues I had was on a dodgy illegal download, so found my CD instead and it all works ok now

I had to fiddle with mine a bit to get it working, but it's good now.

Put it on Win 95 compatability, disabled visual themes (this is what causing the save/load issue I believe), and had to make sure my Winamp's usual always-on-top mode was disabled. That, and having to tell my anti-virus to let it run EVERY BLOODY TIME it runs, and yeah, no problems.

Playing RCT3 atm, fine on w7, no issues whatsoever.

Like the guy above said there like 99p on the bay now or even in cash converters. There are many patchs outthere that make the first and 2nd RCT play on w vista and 7

Purchased this for a quid or two the other day and runs fine. I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 though, not the first. Installs and runs with no issues at all.
