Been quoted as saying Arsenal are a traditional English team (lol) & he would like to play in the UK probably as a gunner.

Does this guy, excusing his talent which obviously is plentiful, just have no loyalty at all to the teams he plays for? Really is a bit of a joke considering the way he left his last team after the grief they went to accomadating him, then Real get him after LOTS of money & debate affecting other teams potential transfers & now he is talking about moving again

Doubt he even said that exactly, probably was just asked about English football and had to give a press-friendly answer.

English teams wont have the money for players like that for a long time anyway.

The reason he may be leaving is due to a clash with Del Bosque, who apparantly has been slagging Ronaldo off for his performances (rightly so as well IMHO).

I doubt Arsenal would go for him though, on current form Henry is way better, and they wouldn't break their wage structure for him anyway.

It would be amazing to see Ronaldo in the Premiership though and recon he'd rip many defenses apart. But he'd cost far to much and there probably isn't another club in the world apart from Real that could afford his transfer fee + wages.

The Gunners???? what the hell would he want to go there for???

He'd be taking a major step down.:)

If he wants to come to the Prem then Arsenal are the logical choice. After all, they are the best team in England, as their standing at the top of the league, and last seasons Prem win will attest.

not as big of a step down if he was joining man utd :p

Dont need him really and will cost a bomb, dont see him returing to his best form either

Most players at arsenal give it their all he doesnt so we dont need him and Henry is much better than him like davey said :)

Nice siggy Mr ErinGoBrath:D

yeah we got a stadium to fund as well and arsene never spends a lot of players

yeah nice sig dude im at uni and usually dont have sigs on and ur sig is good

the goat does have a good scoring record. i think he scores in over half the games he plays, which isnt too bad.

i actually think that this judas is overpriced. man utd probably could afford him, however, i would rather spend the same money on henry - weaken arsenal and strengthen man utd. i just cant see ronaldo being as good as henry in the premiership (given that they are the same sort of players - speed based, dribblers). unless ronaldo was sold at cut price, i doubt arsenal could afford to pay the cash. arsenal simply arent big enough a club to have the financial muscle to buy big players.

also henry is the sort of guy who would stay long term, judas would wanna leave after a couple of weeks.

Man Utd couldn't afford £50m or even £40m, no team in world football today could.

Who cares what he says? Kluivert, Batistuta etc all want to play in the Premiership too, have done since childhood or whatever, where are they?

Batistuta wanted to join Man U or even Arsenal many of times this past while but they turned him down cause he is too old now but still a good player but the money end of it was questionable.

Kluivert however is becoming very fraustrated with Barca because of their crap form and he has always hinted at a shot in the Premiership. Liverpool is the team that is always linked with him and has stated more than many of times Liverpool is a team he'd quite happily play for with recommendation from Jari Litamen. Arsenal would be the other choice if they became interested but Man U is out of the question after Sir Alex publically calling him a pile of dung/crap and with reference to him saying he would never sign such a usless player so Man U will never have him.

isnt part of barcas bad form down to kluivert himself? is he not one of the regulars?

i doubt arsenal would sign kluivert. i just dont think he is good enough to make their or man utd's first team.

liverpool - yes. it would work.

Arsenal won't buy Ronaldo, he isn't French for a start. :p

What an attack they'd have if they did though... Henry and Ronaldo. Everyone that played them would have to switch to 6-2-2 formation. :D

Liverpool should buy him. They spent a fortune on rubbish (with one or two exceptions) so why not buy someone really good with the ability to replace Owen and Hesky ???

PS: RobOffer kindly designed my sig. I just designed the writing in it :)

come on dude, owen is a top striker. without owen liverpool would be screwed. i know for the past 5 games (or is it 10) he hasnt really been cutting the mustard, but at the end of the day, once his barren spell ends, im pretty sure his scoring rate will be better than everyone elses in the premiership.

i would personally have owen in my team rather than kluivert.

how many league goals has owen scrored this season, by the way? i know henry is no.1 and beatie is no.2.

what would be interesting is if someone found the amount of league goals owen scored over the least 4 seasons and compared this against say henry or shearer. im pretty sure owen will come out near the top and i doubt kluivert could even hope to match those stats.

sunama m8, you can't depend on one top striker if he blows hot and cold (which Owen has done this season)...

You need a consistant world class striker to put the pool back on track (too late now mind you)

Even if his scoring rate goes up, can you honestly say he's be better than everyone elses ?
