over the last 4 years i do believe his scoring rate is better than anyone elses (bar shearer or henry - but those guys are the absolute best).

yes i do agree that a club shouldnt depend on one striker, in which case, dont sell him. buy another (non senegalese) striker. but to say that owen is crap as a lot of people are implying, is not right. i would love it if he was at man utd. him and RvN would be nice, especially bringing him on as a sub in the last 20 mins. for any defender who has been playing for 70min, the last thing he wants to see is owen coming on, fresh legged with lightning pace.

but i do think liverpool do perhaps need a new striker to partner owen (or replace him when owen is in bad form).
 
he is over priced and arsenal cant afford to spend so much on 1 player

I dont think anyone big team wants him tbh he seems to have got an ego now which i didnt know about. I think he had big problems with the coach at inter so thats why he left them but if he cant take stick he seems a little stuck up coz he has shown good touches but is no where near his best

I also seriously dont see utd spending another 30 mill in the summer over 1 player, if they were gonna spend a fortune it would be on henry or vieira and arsenal aint gonna let them go especially to their biggest rivals

At real madrid u have to show ur worth the amount they paid for u, zidane has showed he is still class and the fans love him, figo was mainly bought to annoy barca. Ronaldo HAS NOT shown his worth and that is why they are getting on his back
 
come on guys you know that man utd have the best midfield in england. you say arsenal has the best attack. you say arsenal has the best midfield. yet when RvN scores lots of goals you say anyone can do that cuz they have a great midfield. yet when henry scores many goals, you never seem to say arsenal's midfield does all the work (the reason for which is that they dont do much of the work, henry tends to do a lot of the work to score his goals). if arsenal did have the best midfield, then surely you would see henry getting better service. would you not? yet this doesnt happen, henry routinely has to make his own goals and start the attacking move (with a little help from bergkamp).

you cant have it both ways...

when man utd win the title in a few months you guys will all be humbled :)
 
Pires/Giggs - pires is better
Vieira/Keane - Vieira is better
Scholes/gilberto - scholes
Beckham/ljundberg - equal, if we go by freddies last yr form then if rather have freddie but on this season as freddie has been injured then bekham

Seems pretty even to me, most of arsenals goals come from midfield, with man utd its more crossing with arsenal its more ball to feet and direct

I never said the Man United midfield was better than Arsenal's. I just said that the Man United midfield was so good, that Ruud Van Nistelrooy could rely on them solely to create his chances. The fact is that Arsenal's midfield set up Henry for chances and score a lot of goals for themselves too. They work well as a team, for the team. :)

No my friend, when Man United win the title in a couple of months we will all be driving flying cars and watching Michael Barrymore and Matthew Kelly hosting Children's BBC ;)
 
man utd will get the upper hand in the premiership at highbury. in the same way that arsenal effectively won the title at old trafford last season.

i think that tomorrows game (man utd vs arsenal: fa cup) is very important. if man utd lose that, then i cant see them winning the league. so tomorrows game = v. important.

errrrr no, beckham = overrated, all he can do is cross and take free kicks. He cant run with the ball, he cant take men on, he has no skill with the ball, he cant shoot that well in open play, he cant play through balls. Freddie cant cross or take free kicks as good as him but can do everything else much better than goldenballs ;)

Abit early to start saying u can beat us at highbury, if tomarrows match would have been at highbury everyone would have said arsenal will win it. I dont think man utd can beat us at highbury
