So finally yesterday we picked up a Kitten, his name is Ronnie (what he was called before we got him) he is 12 weeks old (suffered from cat flu) we got him from a lady who works on behalf of the RSPCA so we had the usual house check etc.

He's still quite shy atm but luckily he knows how to use his litter tray :D

Here's a few pictures (Don't be alarmed by his nails he's not a nasty Kitten)

There are a couple more on my FLICKR

That’s great, you must be absolutely chuffed. He is so cute. :)

It's brilliant, he keeps hiding behind the sofa but he's still getting used to his surroundings, I was going to keep him in my room last night in his carrier but he seemed happy enough downstairs so I left him roaming around with some food and he had eaten it throughout the night which I was pleased about

Fantastically cute!

Enjoy every moment you have of him as a kitten, as it's over far too quickly!

Take time off work, you can do holidays other times - for now, it should be KITTEH time :D

Finally! Well played OP! He looks great! I'm sure he will have great fun clawing things to bits!

Pro Tip:- Get a scratch pole from a pet store, it will mostly save furniture, carpet, curtains, possessions from being destroyed :D

You should probably suspend him from the ceiling on a sling or something. You know, you don't want black cats crossing your way and all that, it's gonna be hard avoiding that inside your own house!

His claws seem dangerous but he's really cute, He fell asleep next to me a minute ago whilst I was watching TV.

I'll have to get over the fact of the black cat thing :p

He was from an RSPCA rep so I wanted to re-home him :)

This is really excellent. I'm glad you made the turn around from wanting a £300 pedigree cat to helping a rescue cat.

Make sure you spend lots of effort whilst he's young playing with him. They grow up fast! Plus, the more time you spend playing and fussing with him the better your bond will be!

I'd say at least 20 minutes a day is reasonable but when they are that age it's easy to play with them for hours!! :)
