Roof rack

I had Mont Blanc bars on my Golf IV. It was a 5-door which had some anchor points/lugs under the door seals, but the kit came with the adaptor to use with a 3-door Golf - think that fitted around the rear window. Used it with some now-discontinued Thule bike racks (still use those). They were very good, albeit it was steel bars rather than the more aerodynamic aluminiums.

Got them from Go Outdoors, and cost around <£100 all in. Sold them for £80+ on ebay after ditching the Golf too.

And Go Outdoors have a pretty good sale on their Mont Blanc roof bar stuff at the moment, but don't have the bars you need, unfortunately.

Assuming you have a 2008+ 3-door fiesta, you'd need this:

Plus this:

For about £85 total.

I've now got Mont Blancs on my Passat. There's no way I would pay more than double for the Thule equivalent.

Halfords had a roof racks deal, and a 20% off £200 or something, so I got a great deal from them. I seem to remember using their online roof rack finder tool, but the sets are generally for specific cars, so quite easy to find the right ones.
Thanks, good info. Sounds like Halfrauds are the better option, can pay some monkey a few quid to fit them and save me the headache of adaptors/fittings then too!;)
The real answer is to ditch the Fiesta and get an estate ;) Or C+1 :D
I'd intending to go back german again at some point, really like the A5/6 estates but the Fiesta came along at the right time, right money and the guy gave me a good price on my ailing A3 at the time. The 4-5k a year the Fiesta is currently doing I don't see it's going to cost much to keep it as long as needed (5+ years), so therefore worth buying some decent roof bars for. Last year I came close (400 miles short) of the same miles cycling, intending on beating it this year! :D

Oh and buying a new house was a little higher priority, was hard enough convincing her that a new bike was required! ;)
