im in the middle of a extension. and require some roof tiles, but every where i look they seam to out of stock, this is made worse by the fact that my pitch is 15 deg, so really need marley medip most sites have these at between 20 weeks and 6 months lead time!

any idea why this is the case?

Covid brexit etc etc

Bricks are 12 to 14 weeks, can imagine roof tiles especially non standard to be the same if not longer.

Yep, I had a missing roof tile in December. I asked an old school mate who is a roofer. He said not stock anywhere as Covid and supply issues but found my type but for 1 tile it would be £5 for the tile and £150 delivery from a supplier up north. I said see ya.

Managed to find a local roofer who's front garden was chock full of old roof tiles so I knocked on door and asked if he had one in my style. He had 1 left, did the job for £100.

Roof tiles are on very long lead in times at the moment. I've been quoted up to 26 weeks for forticrete centurions for a less than 15 degree pitched roof.

yes there is a massive delay on most tiles your best bet would be to find a wholesale roof tiling supply store as they will normallyy be able to help you. they may even know an alternative tile you can use instead. you could try timelesscoating.com.au as they have a good supply of every thing
