Hey guys,

Right,Ive been thinking of changing my room for a bit now,The layout that is...im not realy liking how it is right now...

The window light annoys me when im using the pc because of the light shining on the monitor, even with the blinds closed its still annoying,Blackout blinds are even worser because the light shines through the side so all i see on my monitor is two bright lines:D

Heres my little diagram lol, showing my current room layout!
Would love some opinions on where/what i could change around.

As you can see the Boiler cubard eats some of my room space,I wish they had stuck that somewhere else!

Bed into the corner where your desk currently is, so it's along the wall opposite the door.

Switch the wardrobe and drawers to the opposite wall.

Desk and fish tank in the place where the wardrobe and drawers are now.

Depending on where things like power sockets and radiators are, combined with the orientation of the room (which direction does the window face, NESW?) then it should cut glare on your monitor.

Buy a bunk bed with space underneath for a desk, put it where the Wardrobe/drawers currently are - job done.

Bunk beds are cool again once you're over 30 again and the wife is complaining about snoring! The social stigma will only last a few years.. practicality rules!

If the bed fits there, then move it next to the boiler, put the computer desk where the wardrobe is and move the wardrobe and drawers to the opposite wall.

If it doesn't then rotate the bed 90º and put against the wall under the window and swap the computer desk with the wardrobe.

Thanks for your ideas guys,

Just a quick play with some software called "Smart Draw 2010" i came up wit this,However its still hard to see what it will look like in real life.

its not like you have loads of furniture is it, just move it around until you like it.. you're over complicating a very very easy task

Moving fish tanks is no easy task depending on how big it is. Make sure you keep it away from the window so they don't get scorched in the summer.

tv so you can see it from bed

fishtank in a corner

computer desk not in direct sunlight.. (Screen glare)

id flip the bed 90deg clockwise and put the tv at the end, if it fits? Would make a nice little corner.

Its not easy at all actualy lol...My computer table isnt thin crappy thing,Its thick wood and very heavy + then ive got to get through the heaps of wires from the back of the pc....trust me theres craploads of them lol.

Under my bed is full of stuff,Old computer parts....books,films and all that stuff lol so again that would have to be emptied, you cant even drag it :D

THEN...theres the fish tank,Like mentioned you cannot drag this...so nope its not an easy task :)

Looking at that latest update I hope you don't like watching TV in bed. You also seem to be missing a wardrobe.

I do actualy,Although its un-comfertable (sp?)....But,You see where my windo is on the pic? near the armchair? i can sit in the armchair to watch films so no biggie.

Yes i compleatly forgot the wardrobe,But im thinking of getting a new bed,the ones with the thing where you can store clother under the matress, which lifts up on gas arms so that would replace the big clunky wardrobe,I dont hand anything up in there anyway its all just piled up :D
