Root beer

I thought Root Beer was pretty easy to pick up?

I can just walk to my local store and purchase one.

Have you got the address for a place that sells Mug? i'd get some serious brownie points if i scored a pack for the mrs, ever since i dragged her out of the states she's been moaning about the lack of Mug.

I've resorted to hitting CyberCandy in covent garden where it's £1.20 a can so anywhere cheaper will be a godsend.
It's one of the two big supermarkets on Gerard Street, can't remember which one though! Saw it in some of the smaller shops there too, I'm sure :)

No root beer left in my fridge now :(

Had some for the first time a couple of months ago...some little stall in the Broadmarsh Shopping Center in Nottingham sells cans of the stuff at a ridiculous price.

It does taste distinctly like TCP, but has a strange allure to it! Certainly made me gassy, anyway - burped my way in and out of shops.

O_o is root beer ginger beer?

Or are they different. I remember getting a can of ginger beer from a vending machine and almost throwing up, sweet lawd that was disgusting.

I love root beer but liken the taste more to Germoline rather than TCP.
AW is the best, but the local places charge a fortune for it. That and Mountain Dew.

Love the stuff but sainsburys stuff isn't as nice as the American stuff, is it ICR or something.

Should be served with a ton of ice.

Sainsbury's Carters root beer is not as good as A&W, but beggars can't be choosers.

Chinese supermarkets often have A&W for some obscure reason and certainly Wing Yip does on a regular basis. The best place for Londoners used to be Oriental City as they used to sell it at 50p a can, sadly no longer. Hell we miss that place. :(

When we went to Chicago last year to visit relatives, we were met at the airport by my sister in law with the biggest cup of root beer I have ever seen from a burger joint. It was literally a bucket with a lid and a straw.

Cartners is nasty compared to A&W, unfortunately in the south west options are short and that's about the only choice (save paying like £20 for a crate to be shipped over)
