Downloaded google play? Is it installed as a system app?

Also I am wondering whether whether anyone will know how to get minecraft pocket edition on my phone. When I put the file on my phone it installs fine but when I go to load it it says unfortunately minecraft has stopped.

You need to ask the XDA forums, it could be gen1gen2,gen3,partition problems depending on the ROM you have installed
