Hey guys, after having finally sorted out my broadband woes I have moved from 512k > 1mb > 8mb connection, yay :)

Final solution was to use an XTE faceplate which has sorted everything out for me. However my problem now is that I have to connect my router to the master socket which is in the further corner of the house and thus giving us horrible signal upstairs.

Now easy solution would be homeplugs or maybe even an access point, however when trying to plug my router upstairs through a microfilter I get no internet at all.

Question is, what is going to be the easiest way to either move my router upstairs or some kind of device to help me out? I don't particularly want to use homeplugs as I use my laptop when upstairs and being tied to a cable is not really an option.

Could I just get some kind of adapter where I can plug my router into a normal phone socket and more importantly does that work?

Cheers fellas.

Ok that looks like it will work just fine.

Am I right in thinking that package comes with 2 plugs. One where you wire it to the router and then another to put elsewhere in the house as a wireless access point?
