Ross Brawn back to ferrari?!

Not quashed, people deny things that end up being true all the time. IE Ferrari have an agreement but want to basically fire the current team principle first, it's more than anything just bad form to confirm you're the new boss before the old one is even told.... though things like that do happen.

Brawn/Ferrari could deny it for a few months and I still wouldn't be surprised if he turned up to the first test as team principle. Not saying he will just Ferrari's current boss has always appeared temporary and as with Vettel, Ferrari are likely to go out and get the best team principle who is available to them. If brawn doesn't go to Ferrari I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at another team in the next couple of years.

He deserves his retirement. Built ferrari back up, saved loads of people at Brackley jobs, built up Mercedes, hired the right people, put all the elements in place and then get's replaced by about 15 people to do his job ;). For me Mercs title is his. I do wonder if he'd still been in charge whether the driver issues would have happened this year, well so publicly anyway.

Perhaps Ross & Jenson should team up and buy Caterham/Marussia and then get the Honda unit installed in 2016 ?

Marusia is to become manor next year by the looks of it, no idea what will happen with caterham but I doubt those 2 would have the funds required to pull that team up

Well EJ thinks that Ross will be back in 2017 with VW/Audi.

He's often full of it, but he does have very good sources and has been right about some big moves in the past i.e. Hamilton, Schumacher.

wouldn't it be something, if ross brawn did buy them out, renamed to Brawn GP, coloured the cars in the white / yellow as last time and won the championship with jenson button

almost impossible to do, but would be very cool to see
