Roulette

Im not posting rubbish, it is by no means perfect, but there are systems that can be used to create a better chance of winning, it is of course still down to the player to understand what they are doing. I don't need to read anything, ive read more about gambling and roulette systems that you've had hot dinners.

you said "odds back in your favour" and "profit"

you cant beat a roulette table

In StarCity, Sydney, I went from $80 to $290 on BlackJack (I was all in on my last legs atleast twice) - on my way out, on the spur of the moment, I put it all on Red. Won and walked out with $580. Cash back!

Statistically, which basically means over the long run, you are still going to lose. Every spin is completely independent - you can't change that.

Thats the thing, these systems are not meant to be played in the long run, im not stupid, i know mathematically if you play over a certain amount of spin your chances of loss go rediculously high. They are quick and brutel tactics, walk in play them, when your up use what you've learned from practice and know when to leave. This is part of any pro gamblers system, and combined with rules to minimise loss, you can walk away from roulette tables, with profit.

Its a simple as this in a way. If i were standing infront of you and i said, ok i bet you using this coin, that i will not get 7 heads in a row, would you bet i would. Yeah if your talking statistically fine its going to happen, but would you take that bet now. No.

Wouldn't be surprised if casinos themselves created this 'logic'... in the short term you win small but ultimately when you lose its a big amount.
Unless its bonus bagging, the casino always wins!

If you have a gambling system, head on over to the wizardofoddds site.

There is no gambling system that will make you money in the long run.

how exactly does the short term differ from the long term with roulette gambling? I know that the 'longer' the term the greater the likelihood of the results conforming to statistical expectation, but all that means is you can get lucky in the shorter term and walk away with some money. But you can also get unlucky in the short time, and that is just as likely...

you are posting rubbish though

seriously re-read what you wrote

this bit is particularly retarded:

by only playing to a set amount, i.e 6 spins 6 losses, and switching colours after 5 wins in a row, you can make a profit.

if you still don't get it then try to explain to me the logic behind switching colours.....

Actually the Martingale system is flawed because it is exactly that. It requires you to be able to double-up indefinitely, which of course in practice can't be done.

It very much relies upon a 'long run' approach.

The longer you can afford to 'double-up' the lower your chance of walking away with a loss. However, if you do end up with a loss, then that loss is going to be a big one.

Martingale just reduces the chances of having small losses, but is offset by the chance of having one very big loss.

im not stupid

ok

i know mathematically if you play over a certain amount of spin your chances of loss go rediculously high.

With blackjack the simple truth is that on each spin your chances of losing are always fractionally greater than your chance of winning. And there is nothing you can do to change this.

The Martingale System will just increase your chances of having a lot of small 'wins' over a period of time. But these will instantly be lost when you have your first 'loss' (ie when you have such a run of bad luck that you can't afford to double-up any more).

There is no 'pro' way to play Roulette. It is purely a game of luck and nothing can be done to change that.

There are systems that can improve chances of 'winning small amounts regularly' - but they are always offset by the chance that when you do lose (and it will happen eventually), you will lose a lot of money.

I'm not sure you understand statistics and the concept behind the different 'systems' used in games of chance, like Roulette.

However this system can be modified to bring the odds back in your favour. By minimising your chance of lossing big, by only playing to a set amount, i.e 6 spins 6 losses, and switching colours after 5 wins in a row, you can make a profit.

lol

It all comes down to luck. It might minimise your chances of losing big as you are no longer betting large values, but it does not alter the odds, and changing the colour certainly does not alter the odds.

I hear so many people saying "it's been black the last 4 times, it's due to be red soon", and they are being totally serious, makes me cringe.

I won £700 on roulette but it was a live game with a real roulette wheel. There is some strategy behind it but its down to a lot of luck. I put £3 on number 1 by accident, i meant to put it on 0,1 and 3! it came in and i won over £100.

Once i had got past £200 i was putting about £20 down on the table each time, 2 out of 3 times i would win, sometimes small sometimes big.
I got up to £750 then put some silly £100 bets on which could have won me £300 a bet. I lost £200 but got back up to £700.

I wouldn't recommend it tbh, but if u do try i can recommend William hills live roulette games. (also the polish wheel attendants are really fit) ;)

The only way to play roulette is to get drunk, walk upto the table, put £100 on your birthday number and stumble away.. if you win.. no more ... if you loose... no more

No one is saying you can't win money on Roulette... you can. However, its all luck - there is no stratergy to beat a game where the odds are with the casino.

Last time I played roulette I put everything on black, took the gamble, doubled my money and walked away.
It's my favourite kind of gambling essentially 50/50 odds.

Pokers good but it takes so long to play a good game.

He was betting red at the time then 7 blacks in a row wiped him out.

If he was going for even bets he shouldn't just do red/black but also high/low and odd/even.

But ultimately that's how roulette works. You have a stream of wins and instead of walking away your greed takes you over and you keep on betting and then betting on top of all the money you lose. The true art of roulette is knowing when to walk away.
