Roundabout - who at fault (theoretical)

You are approaching a roundabout (you want to go right) and you look to the right - you see a car, but it is quite far away, so you think it is safe to go, and you go.

As you are on the roundabout and are about to start turning the wheel to the right (so you are fully on the roundabout) you look right and realise that the other car was going *very* fast and was now braking heavily to avoid bumping into your side.

Presuming he had bumped into the side, who would be at fault? Seeing how you're already on the roundabout, it would be the other guy's?

I'd say your fault.

You're not supposed to carry out any moves that cause other road users to change their speed/direction.

Unless there were witnesses that the guy was tanking it, in which case, he'd probably get the blame.
