Router & Access Point suggestions

I've decided I need to join the Wifi world properly and replace the various items comprising my home network.

Think I need a router & an access point with a LAN socket - I have a lot of bits of wired kit in my home office most of which can't do wifi, so they need to be plugged into a switch plugged into a WAP, like what I have in my living room for some other kit.

Whatever I get needs to be able to do port forwarding as I have a RPi that is running my weather station.

I also want to be able to wall-mount both items.

I'm not wanting to spend the mega-bucks it looks like an AC setup will be - happy to spend up to £150.

Suggestions please?

Any router is going to give you what you need to be honest. Depending on whether you want to stick with N or go with AC, you can easily get virtually any router of your choice along with a Gigabit switch.

Do you need a modem router for ADSL, or are you on fibre?
