Router dropping all connections periodically

This is the logging section on my D7000, can you use the send this syslog to IP address feature to log errors?

What ip do I enter?

I'll be honest I've never used it. I think you need a syslog server running on a machine to pull the info into it?

I have no idea if there's one built into Windows or not.

Ok I've set it up - running a syslog server on my PC and I can see output from the router...lets see.

I did some more research and googled 'D7000 locking up' - seems like quite a few cases like mine where the only solution was to return the unit and get a new one!

One thing, I run my wireless 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz at 25% power. It provides enough signal across the house and into the garden. Could try running it at a lower % for a while, see if it improves?

Tried that too, no luck.

The router is now back in the box and I have connected my Plusnet Hub into the same setup and no issues so far.

Piece of junk!

Thanks anyway for your suggestions.
