Hi Guys

my networking knowledge is appauling so I am hoping for some help regarding a router for my xbox 360.

Basically do i need to spend lots of money on a router, or can i just pick up a cheap one?

If so what do you recommend as i do not know which are solid brands and which aren't.

Hey I'm in a similar situation and was wondering if someone could recommend me a ADSL2+ wireless Modem w/ Built-in 4 port router (Will be used with my PC, 360 wireless adapter, Nintendo DS and maybe a laptop)

I have been looking around and there are so many different brands + different models its hard to choose, Plus both the 360 + Nintendo DS seem to be fussy about which they will and wont work with making the choice even more difficult.

Price isnt a major issue, but the cheaper the better. Looking to spend around £50(£60 maximum)

That's cheaper and better. You can download a firmware for it adding more options and making it more like a £60 router. You can even boost the signal up a bit and overclock the cpu if you want :p . I've got it and it's never missed a beat.

I bought this router from OcUK a few weeks back when I got my 360 and it works flawlessly with the Microsoft WiFi adaptor. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, top piece of kit and a top price too
