Router Help ( admin )

Hey guys, i have this router, no idea whats its called tho, its just some cheapy 1, the thing is, i don't how the ip address to get on to admin!, its not like my old router, the address was 192.168.1.1 for that.
heres what it looks like! any help will be great full, as it cuts out like every 5 minutes!

Sorry about the blury picture, it says BroadBand Router, on the top left and the code on the bottom of it is ;; 00064F2BAED1... any help as said will be greatful cheers!

Set your machine to get an IP address from it, and try the default gateway it gives?

they was no software, its all plug in and play, and how would i set my pc to get a ip address from it?

I mean start > run > type cmd > press enter > type ipconfig > default gateway.

right, i need more help, i fort i just carry on using this thread, my net keeps cutting out due to this router, any ideas? i am on VM 2 meg i think, and was fine before i hooked up a router to it!

In what way is it cutting out?
Did you go through the process of disconnect the modem, switching it off and back on, waiting for the lights to settle down, then connecting the router?

it just dies, and then like magic its back!

It never happened before since i had VM before i plugged this router in tho games are now unplayable due to d/c every 10ish minutes!

make you sure hav'nt selected dial on demand in the router config - choose always on or nailed up

can you go into the routers settings and restore factory defaults?

hm disconnections, have you had a look on the main website to see if there are any upgrades to the firmware?
