Does anybody know if its possible to set a netgear router to run NAT and DHCP using a 192.168.x.x subnet but also work with static ip's? and if so how?

Basically we currently have the router getting its WAN address dynamically from the ISP, it has a static public IP on its LAN side and five more static public static IP's available which are distributed through DHCP, 4 of these are reserved for servers connected to the router (two Server 2003 boxes, a Server 2000 box and another device) and one is free which means the is only one address available for any wifi device. This has not been a problem before as the only wifi device that every connected was the MD's iPad.

Now though we are testing a Windows Server 2012 unit and according to the info on its topology it does not like having a static public IP (which is good I suppose as the are not any left) and will want a private IP and the router to be running DHCP.

My issue is that in my head I get the idea that if I turn NAT on for the router and have it start dishing out private IP's this will work great for the new Server 2012 box and the iPad but it will mess up the routing to the boxes running static public IP's. Do I then have to specify routes to them in the routers settings or something? The must be a way around to make it all work as it seems silly that NT6 servers would require a topology that was incompatible with NT5 servers but

Thank you.
