I use a thompson Speedtouch 510, 4 ports to connect to the internet recently i changed my password to AOL [my isp] and it messed around with the router settings dont know how but it did, so i se the router back to default configuration by pressing the button twice to reset.

Now when i try to go to the speed touch website it just wont let me page not found, all green lights are on, before the [@] sign was flashing orange/green but since the reset all lights show up green however i still cannot access any websites and not even 10.0.0.138

before you asked i have phoned AOL technical help and they are so clueless its like talking to a 2 year old.

Thanks in advance

most likely that the reset put the router back to a 192.168.0.* address.

I'm going to assume that DHCP is enabled on the router by default, and your getting addresses by DHCP on your client machines.

Try ipconfig /all from a command prompt on one of your client machines (assuming it's windows)
