router question

looking to buy

Linksys AG241 ADSL2+ Modem/Router

on broadband through bt phoneline in uk, just wondering is this thing easy to set up, and once done does it mean i can ditch my speedtouch330?

also do i still need my software firewall mcafee?

hope you can help, dont know much about routers

I would say it would be no more difficult than any other ADSL Modem/Router. I haven't ever tried a Linksys install but I wouldn't imagine it will be too difficult.

If you are on Windows it has its own inbuilt firewall, so you don't need to have McAfee as well.
