Looking to grab a decent spec router for my brother, as his current (ageing) DLink 524 has seen better days....
He is on VM, luckily without SuperHub (!), and really doesn't want/need anything too spangly, but let's still look at wireless 'n' and gigabit.
Other key feature is 'compatibility' with DYNDNS services - his current DLink has applicable settings/feature, but does not maintain/refresh his DYDNS account (seems some routers don't do this well) and hence he gets an email every 30 days or so to validate his account there
I was thinking a DIR-655, which is what I have used for a while, as they can be snagged for £60 nowadays.....anything else newer/better/cheaper that anyone can recommend ?
