A friend of mine has Virgin Broadband and a Linksys BEFSR41 Version 3 router with the latest firmware. All the network drivers are the latest version too and he's on a new install of XP Pro.
The problem is that when connecting via the router browsing is slow and downloads are slow and usually fail before they complete. This is with IE as well as Firefox.
He has a PS3 connected to the router too and that seems to be fine.
There's no problem when connecting directly to the net via the cable modem.
I've been fiddling with it for a couple of hours and I'm at a loss as to what's wrong, any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated please.
