Hello
Looking online sky make it a bit harder to use another router. I'm getting lots of disconnects on fifa, I've opened ports so it's not that. I never had the problem with plusnet router when I was with them.
I have an adsl line with fibre so presumably still need a router with modem built in.
I don't mind spending a bit over £100 if needed.
I believe I need one which needs type 61 dhcp but I'm struggling to see it advertised on any specs.
Any help is much appreciated

When it 'disconnects' does the connection actually drop? Have you spoken to Sky? You could have a line fault that a replacement router won't fix.

If you're searching, the DHCP 61 support is often referred to as MER.

Internet stays connected according to the lights on the router.
Sky are sending another engineer out. I'll look for mer
Thanks
