Its a victorian house so they are Brick. However we have opened it up so some is kinda open plan.

I was amazed. I think my BB was playing up last night as I was only getting 20 odd meg on my desktop which is now at 180 odd meg.

Using my phone to do the speedtest I get 44.48Dl and 12.57UL ping 12ms stood about 8 foot from the AP.
Approx 120ft away down the botton of my garden its drops to26.70Dl and 11.07Ul with aping of 11ms same server both times.

I think I might need me one of these. I've got a plan of my house somewhere that I made, let me see if I can find it.

Ignore the black marks, I made it with my iPhone a while ago and it didn't do the calculations quite right. The rooms are the correct scale, just put the rooms back to back as they should be and you've got a good idea.

Edit: the black marks between the playroom and the hall are the stairs so they're correct. The study ones aren't, so just ignore those.

My AP is sat on top of a door that is resting in the Hall just were the RHS door to the sitting room is.
