I sent a phone via RMSD on the 20th, it was signed for on the 22nd(they didn't attempt to deliver on the 21st) but the addressee claims he never recieved anything and he tried all his neighbours and none of them had signed for it either.

What i'm wondering is will i be able to get compensation without the items reciept?(which was in the box!)

Thanks

I suppose it's upto you as the sender to make a claim, so it isn't out of your hands but I'd contact RM and ask for the the signature. Just because it isn't on the website it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

So how do you know it was signed for on the 22nd?

because the tracking will tell you if has has been delivered, it does not always show the proof of the delivery though

i had a similar problem last week, but the item eventually arrived 2 days late, im now claiming back the £19.45 costs off RM

Sooooooo i got a letter today from RM asking for proof of value, will a bank statement be enough? it has the site i bought from and the price on it.

Also there is still no signature/proof of delivery on their site :\

i before e, except after c.

Except for about 300 exceptions. Has to be one of the crappest grammar rules ever, it's hardly ever true.

As far as I'm aware, it's RM's responsibility to deliver the item to the person who the item is addressed to. If they've delivered it to the wrong person, then they have to pay. Try RM with the bank statement, if they won't accept it, get in touch with whoever you bought it from and ask for a copy of the receipt.
