Is it me or have royal mail really gone down hill. I order my logitech g500 wednesday first class. It got dispatched thursday at 9am. I didnt get it today so i went into the sorting office. They guy said it hasnt even arrived yet. one to two buisness days 1st class delivery is. If its not in the sorting office now. I will no doubt get it monday. I doubt i will use royal mail again. They are unreliable.
 
i've had stuff delivered from royal mail recently, and its taken like a week to get here

9 days the last one took, its been really bad
 
Royal mail has always been on time for me, i live less then a mile away from a sorting depot, so maybe that's partly why? ^_^

Im half a mile from my sorting office. What annoys me is that its been 2 buisness days and it has not arrived at the depot yet.

royal mail are trash now, i've been waiting for something posted from manchester first class recorded for two days now, and nothing, our postie never arrives before lunchtime ( more often then not, it's 2-3pm) the service is tush, and they rip you off for the priviledge, unless you have no other choice, i'd avoid RM like the plague
 
Actually witnessed the postman putting a "You weren't here for your parcel slip" through my door, came out as he was getting in the van and asked for the parcel. Didn't have it on him. Cheeky ****.
 
I've had several small packets/parcels (letter box size) recently, from MM buys and other e tailers, which were supposed to be "signed for". These were shoved through the door with the little pull off sticker, which is supposed to go on the card that you sign, STILL on the package.!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :(

Even a slim line keyboard was shoved through !!!!!

NOTE... if you send it signed for make sure it's to big to get through a letter box

Problem with DPD is that it cost 7 quid which i dont like paying for delivery. I got royal mail free delivery on ocuk as i have been a member for over 3 months and have enough posts.

You will get the mail at a later time of day unless you live at the start of the delivery.

I do a foot delivery and start work at 9am but the official start time of the delivery (in Scotland) is 10.15am - 10.30am and the last should be 2pm - 2.15pm.

We have piles of recorded parcels (for drivers) in our office waiting to be delivered for days on end because there are simply not enough people employed to get the volume delivered on time.

if you work for these idiots, then why has everything changed from the late 80's to mid 90's?

i can remember the postman arriving no later then 8am, thats monday to saturday, week in, week out
sorry, not bitching at you specifically, but royal mail is mud in my eyes, i've had trashed parcels from them, late packages, sorting office collections ( postman not smart enough to knock at a door? ( i dont have a doorbell )
somethings gotta be done, just hope it happens and sticks this time.

thats slighly better than what happens to me.

if no one answers, they just leave the package on the door step, half the time they dont even knock on the door and just dump it there.

never get a card through the door either, so unless i actually look outside, usually i have no idea its just b een left there

what you do there then is contact the seller, if it's from MM or similar, and tell them to notify royal mail that the package never arrived and tell them to claim the cost of the item back, maybe they'll split the payout with you......... oh wait is this illegal? ;)
 
Ive ordered a few bits from here on mm and other places received within a couple of days, never had a problem yet.
