No, you stated you didn't like that we pay for the upkeep of the monarchy. It was explained to you that effectively it costs a measly amount. I offered some other examples of things that do cost a lot of money (for perspective and, well you know, that's how a discussion takes place). You instead continue to be bent out of shape on the matter and deflect the conversation. You're exactly the people I was talking about earlier, blaming irrelevant factors for your own failings.

Was tongue in cheek. Not worried what the Royals get up to if they leave us alone. If it weren't for the Royals, there would just be someone else to take up that mantra.
Could even have a corporation of some sort with seeming overwatch of the country.

You offered some other examples which are irrelevant when discussing the monarchy and how its a waste of taxpayers money, however its not a waste in your opinion, therein lies the argument, you think its good I think its bad, its that simple so there's no debate to be had really.

Of course there is. You made the statement that you didn't like that you think they cost tax payers money. I was looking for some perspective on that matter, I wanted to know that, if the royal family irked you so much, are you as outraged by the other examples that I gave.

There's no debate because simply you don't want one because you know I make a good point that you don't want to acknowledge. Deflection.
