Yes, AD&D 2nd edition from age 17-24ish, then it stopped and I played Warhammer role play from 26ish-32ish. Both great fun, if I could find a good group to join in Woking (not from around here) I'd take it up again.
Yep though rarely these days due to other commitments we struggle to game once a month. Was mostly D&D up to 3.5 edition though a mix of games like Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk 2020, Warhammer, World of Darkness and Trinity.
Used to play a fair bit of old school 1980s Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay - I remember the rulebook being enormous, and a lot of the backstory was really quite dark.
Played a bit of the Star Wars roleplay system for a while, and then used the extended Warhammer Quest rules once the basic boardgame ran out of life. Always preferred the old Advanced Heroquest to Warhammer Quest - which seemed a bit "happy".
