Had a few people asking when the next RR was and if I could organise it fully this time.

RR10 is not going to happen till Spring/Summer 2010!

The days of exotica (ie not 1.2 hatchbacks) are just gone. I think the best thing to do for RR10 is to leave it till spring/summer next year in hope we'll have more cars available to run.

Having ~10 cars willing to run and 20 or so spectators (most would be passengers I'd have thought) means it just isn't viable...plus nobody wants to see loads of crummy little everyday cars get 70bhp on the rollers.

I don't mind helping out organising a meet around the Tewkesbury area in the middle of September though. I'd say it would likely be similar to the RR days, meeting somewhere in/around the area and having a good old convoy/blat down to the usual pub.

So that being said, when would you lot like it?

I think due to the fact it's already mid July it's going to have to be slightly later than usual unfortunately.

I'm thinking late Sept personally, but it's up to you lot and if we can deff get 20+ runners +5 or so spares.

Can I get a poll please...

If in a week or so most people want end of August then I'll give Powerstation a bell, else I'll give it a little longer.

The venue as always will be Powerstation and should cost about £35 for a power run.

Note: This one will be organised a little differently to previous ones, I'll be getting deposits or something from runners to counter the drop outs and ensure that we don't get charged £60per run for the people that do turn up.

This thread is also to gauge interest for runners, if not many people want to run then I'll leave it till next spring.

Poll sounds like a good plan, but, personally ill be attending no matter final date. :)

Ill be running, with any luck i will have some shiny bits before long to make it worth while.

I will be there when ever, just choose a date rob otherwise we will never make our minds up :D

If you want me to run it, don't choose 29th August as I am in Germany.
and don't choose 19th or 26th September as I'm in Ibiza.

:D:D:D:D

Count me in, but i have an operation coming up (supposed to be in the next 12 weeks), if that occurs ill have to pull out.

Last year I jinxed the weather by buying a convertible.

This year I jinxed it by buying an air conditioning unit.

Sorry. :(
