Gotta agree with the 'skip it till next year' consensus. The Panzer-shed should have 2.0litres and bike carbs by then ;)

EDIT: Love that PS13 howler, I was soooooo close to buying one when I bought my Skyline.

It had better! :D

I'll see about organising a Tewkesbury meet still though, but now that there is a South meet in the middle of Sept I'd have to arrange it for mid/end Oct. :)

Thanks mate, I was the other way round, I nearly bought a Skyline then opted for the Silvia

I'll likely turn up but not run. It'd be nice if it could be done at an RR that was prepared to run turbocharged automatic cars but meh, I realilse I'm in the minority here.

Don't care what the date is so long as I get some decent notice.

Without wishing to sound thick, is there an issue with running an automatic on rollers? - Surely you simply hold it in a lower gear?

I've no interest in running my 328i Auto but would be tempted to get my Scania on the rollers! - its an auto but you can put it in manual mode and select any of its 12 forward gears. :) - I somehow doubt my employers would allow it though nor would it fit inside I'd imagine. :(

Nokinidea says that his boss isn't prepared to do it due to problems they have had in the past when trying it.

I know of a couple of other RRs that were prepared to do it, such as ScoobyClinic in Chesterfield, though I doubt they'd be interested in hosting the OcUK RR day

Bumpety bump!

I'd like another RR day. I have a reason to re-run my car

I know we've got a few newer members and I'm sure they'd like to run, and the 'veterans' have changed/modded/whatever their cars... Anyone fancy stepping up for the organising and setting a date?

I'd probably come along although I probably wouldnt run - cant imagine anyone being interested in watching a diesel mondeo on a rolling road!
