RROD :(

Seriously must be fifa, thats what did my old xbox 360 in. My PS3 went on thursday, £145 to replace with a refurb and I have to wait 2 weeks, and the bad news? I have to wait 6 weeks for them to return the game stuck in the console :/

I think it works by overheating the Xbox to the point where it reflows the solder by the GPU. I've been using it with mixed success for a few days now, looking into doing the x-clamp fix myself to sort it out once and for all.

oooh, fair enough :)

There is a way of getting the disc out yourself though. A bit late now I know but for future reference.

If you remove the faceplate you will see a small whole under the disc tray, pop a paperclip end in there and hey presto the draw pops open - same as on any CD/DVD drive.
