Just wondering if anyone on here is currently playing this? I have just picked it up as I used to love Total Annihilation back in the day.

Coming from Supreme Commander its nice to have the strategic zoom added in to TA like gameplay.

I’m sure there’s a thread on this somewhere. I’ve watched plenty of live matches though not for a good while now. It looks excellent though I’ll actually play once it’s fully released.

its been mentioned a few times but not recently.
i played the original TA and spend Hours on it when i was wee.
i played one of the skirmish games pf BAR with the chickens/raptors was a fun game good way to test all the units from every faction
its a good reminder there isnt one unit that beats everything and everything needs support :)
i defo recomened playing it and checking out Zero-k
both free and both spiritual successors to TA with lots of updates and expansion.
go forth and multiply then burn everything with pyro's :D

It came to our attention that the letter we sent to our contributor team about ongoing talks with a potential publisher partnership has been shared publicly without our authorisation. The document is real. We had been planning to make a proper public announcement if the contract is signed and we could coordinate the rollout with the publisher, but since excerpts are now making rounds, it makes sense to put the main facts on the record directly so the conversation can be based on accurate information instead of selective quoting.

Together with the other admins we have been working on negotiating a deal with Hooded Horse, a publisher specialising in strategy games. You probably have heard about them, their catalogue includes Manor Lords, Old World, Terra Invicta, Against the Storm, Songs of Conquest, and a long list of others in the genre. They have a strong reputation among developers for being hands-off on creative direction and unusually transparent about how they operate which is why we figured out it might be interesting to see what’s possible to build together.

Why we wanted this:
