Indeed. A better way to do it is to make an image of your original disc and just mount that in daemon tools.

but I do, they released a patch at begining of this year (even after all this time, just proves how good a game it was to be patched so many years later

True but SC always uses 100% CPU usage (50% on dual core as it maxes out 1 core).

that may be the case, but you do save energy on the CD/DVD drive since it isn't spinning and that sux a lot of juice on laptops

they do? games with my lot usually last about 6 minutes.

Indeed, Total Anhiliation is a good one too..

Sins of a Solar Empire might be worth trying too if you can run AOE 3..
