And people said 2GB was enough for 1080p....
Can you not read?
I'm downloading this game now, preloading doesn't let you choose which drive to put it on
What kind of framerate were you getting btw?
I also want to measure vram usage @1080p unless someone else beats me to it.
SLI does not seem to scale very well either so I was probably using one and a bit cards. I did not measure FPS but they seemed fine on the Titans with no drops.
I have to go to work in a minute but will have another look at this in the morning. I also want to measure vram usage @1080p unless someone else beats me to it.
Mine will be downloaded in about an hour, i can test 1080 and 1440 and i have both screens to hand atm, also got a 2GB and 4GB card on my bench.
Just tried it quick on my GTX 690s @1080p maxed including the option to use unlimited vram.
Battle of Raphia
It ran fine but the game used the full amount of vram on the cards (2gb).

Then it's not truly using all the VRAM then. If it was actually maxing out the game would crawl to a halt.
It is definitely unplayable @1600p with 2gb, all you get is a black and white slide show.
Even Crysis 3 maxed runs better at 1600p on a 2gb card.
Settings maxed @1600p
Just played a historical battle on my Titans and measured the vram usage.
It was 3.2gb ouch.
This could be why people are reporting graphics problems with RTW2.
Lies 2gb is enough and will be forever. 2gb is even overkill for 4k.![]()
