RTX 2070 - Temps! 83C+

Interesting. Wonder if it’ll make a difference.

If it does and they do a triple fan version that’s 10cm longer I might buy one.

Hey matey, it's due to arrive next week, I'll let you know if it's worth buying before you go ahead :)

ps I think the reason they don't do a triple fan could be down to the size - 2x240mm -> 81CFM

Ok, then I think it would be much better to have 3 intakes at the front, 1 exhaust in the rear and another exhaust on top as near to the back to the case as possible.

UPDATE :

1) Removed side case cover and temps dropped from a max of 84C down to 71C
2) Noticed my front Vortex fans which were rated at 70 cfm were not blowing air as they should. Upon testing it turned out to be the front dust filter was incredibly restrictive and stopping air from being sucked in.
3) Removed front dust filter, air flow increased a lot!
4) Closed case, added a fan to the top, left front filter off and now temps are maxing out at 76C and this is with overclocking.

So yes it's case airflow being a problem as some of you highlighted, with a 10C+ drop across the board. Will also keep an eye on dust as well prior to new fans arriving and the Aerocool GPU PCI cooler :D
