That implies that density counts for nothing? Guess these work at x1 but do miners have mobo's which can take 10 of these? Othewise the overheads of a mobo, CPU, RAM etc. should surely make this less appealing?
Keep the ram cool for mining.....Why are they all so huge, it’s ridiculous.
Will Nvidia have units for sale directly on day of release?
And that's what this is. Like AMD Nvidia only care about profits but Nvidia are taking it to the most extreme, everything they do now is "how can we attract more crypto miners?"
There is nothing efficient in needing more than double the mining rigs for the same hash power. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it will still be wanted but it's far from being great for mining.
How exactly will it do 40 MH/s? A 6600 which has the same memory bandwidth does 30 MH/s when tuned. And mind you this is an LHR card too so it will actually be less.
Yeh, i mean its a decent enough card by the looks of things. Still too expensive RRP wise in terms of what it ofyfers over what has come before. Should be more like £179 ish, not £239.
I'm hoping ocuk may do a £229 early bird special.
If Nvidia provide a discount to retailers, which won't happen, you might see £250. More likely initial stock at 299. Then quickly over £400 quid. Great budget option.
yeah that way you get to see the reviews and then you can make a decision not have to order it before it go`s out of stock and then find out it`s crap and have to send it back. AMD fiddle
Let's see if any reviews leak early today and continue to guess real UK pricing!
Hashrate for 1660 super is about 31mh/s for 80-90w
The latest I saw had the 3050 at only 11 mh/s
