RTX 3060 8GB

OCUK already listing the Gainward three legged donkey Pegasus model

£320!

For comparison you can buy a 6700XT for £399.95

Get your popcorn and pitchforks out. Nvidia is making friends again by trying to shaft entry level gamers.

They didn't want entry level gamers to feel left out so now they've covered all their bases.

Oh FFS. I think if they're shamed enough they'd rename it. Maybe enough memes of the nvidia "midrange" losing to Intels Arc in HUBs average performance would be enough to worry them into changing the name.

Interesting, saw the one in the ocuk shop the other day and thought it was weird - a very brief Google turned up that it had less memory bandwidth, but didn't know about the other differences and weren't any benchmarks like that video had so wasn't sure what the performance impact would be.

Pretty dodgy behaviour by nvidia. Very misleading.

Whatever. I've got to the point where nothing surprises me anymore when Nvidia are conserved.

Although I am surprised to see Nvidia getting bashed by so many people with an Nvidia GPU in their signature.

LE already has some recognition as a lesser edition, call it 3060 LE and I'd be fine with it. When RX 550 was re-released with a cut-down bus AMD put 64-bit on the box, still not great (not obvious what it meant and proper cards didn't have 128-bit on their box), but better than nothing.

3050ti would be more appropriate.

It's the bus not the RAM amount that is killing performance. 192 bit to 128 bit bus dropping from 360 to 240GB/s.

Shameful to market this as the same model.

Grim seems to still think vram amount equals performance it seems. He forgets that the 3080 Ti and 3090 perform almost identically

**** move by Nvidia really. their marketing team take the ****.
