It's a better product, no different to AMD sticking 50 quid on their CPUs.

If you upgrade every year then you can't expect to get +50% perf for the same money.

Seems like reasonable value and good to see a more sensible power consumption. Assuming 3070 cards are available under £500, then this is a better buy than the 2060 Super, 2070/Super, 2080 etc.

I mean look at the hyperbole in reviews like TPU, they are comparing it to the 2080TI as if GPU's have suddenly had a massive price cut thanks to the God Emperor Jens.

Make it £400 or less, then i'll be impressed. Its just a £500 GPU for a $500 GPU generational uptick and even then £500 is still expensive for what it is.

It's obviously going to sell out. Thousands of people ordered the 3080.

With the cheaper 3070 it will be tens of thousands.

I heard from a source that the sloths keep falling asleep on the assembly line. The fur contaminating the assembly line has increased the defects rate exponentially.

Jensen is personally seeing to it that naked mole rats are being sourced to aid with GPU assembly. It should help to keep the defects down to a minimum

Anyone got as TLDR on these cards reviews? dont feel like watching half a dozen different reviews, does it beat the 2080ti consistently in normal raster perf and also Ray Tracing? Is it worth its MSRP? although we know its going to be £50-£150 more than its MSRP

Equals a 2080Ti give or take a few percent depending on the game. Slightly behind with raytracing on.

Does better in things like Blender.

Does worse in VRAM dependent applications.

Its a good card for its RRP. Personally if I am told something is £469 then I don't pay more.
