The Pro ice> I have one of these boards for my second PC. I prefer Asus in general over gigabyte. Now many people prefer Giga over Asus. But I am so use to Asus motherboards for my primary PC it has to be Asus for my secondary and sometimes third it can be whatever although most often than not I will still use Asus.

Also a newb question, are 4k monitors just as good at running in 2k as dedicated 2k monitors?

Aye the pro ice and the Rog Strix are my 2 options now. I think the pro ice looks sexier but I can’t tell if the ASUS has better futureproofing.

Well, its not a white built YET but it will be - I was needing a new board so I got the PRO ice as it was in stock and the black wasnt lol

Now, I quite fancy a white build

well I decided at the last minute to switch to an all white build and now I’m stuck with a black GPU and who knows when the gigabyte master ice 5080 will be back in stock.

Lesson being, ignore the Fomo.
