RTX3090 Thermal Pads / Overheating

Hey,

has anyone replaced the thermal pads on an RTX3090 which is overheating?

Not sure which mm thickness pads I should be using?

Depends on which AIB/ FE card. I’d use thermal putty and save the headache. Should be better temps too.

Ask the AIB partner, some are helpful and will tell you. Palit for example will tell you the size and thickness of all the pads.

I changed the thermal pads on the back and front on my Zotac 3090 and they were both 2mm if i remember correctly.

I did try 3mm on the back but it made no difference at all.
