Rubber washers for hardrive. Eclipse62

Looking at your pic in the other post, are the rubber grommits placed fully inside the circular holes or are they on the outside/inside of the hdd cage?

Also wondering whether it would be worth while using rubber fan mounts on my PSU fans and using rubber washers between the mounting plate and the PSU?

Defo use rubber fan mounts does make a difference as to psu i guess depends if
yours is noisy mines an old enermax 350 watt but very quiet.
 
Do you have to put the washer inbetween the cage and hdd AND between the screw head and enclosure, else the vibration will just transfer through the screw wont it?
