Thanks, interesting reading. So they are still genuine modified Porsches then? or do they build them from the ground up using Porsche designs?

yup. the cars (shell, dunno how assembled) a picked from the production line at porsche, RUF take them away and have their wicked way with them and theyve made some truely iconic cars over the years

IIRC The CTR3 is their own shell but the RT12 was the 911 shell and they did their own thing with it.

Is this replacing his other one, or is it to keep it warm in the garage? I can imagine how it goes, if the other one did 211mph at VMAx I would expect this one to see 220mph, that is SERIOUS. I remember how his other one made the SLR 722 look sluggish, this one will be beyond epic!

RT12 went to Japan months ago so this is his replacment :cool:

I've told him I want to drive it VMAX already

Rofl, I was thinking the same thing really, then again a lot of Porches leave me a bit cold to be fair, now if that was a Paggani Zonda F I'd be all over it.

I think the back end isn't that well resolved actually, sort of Cayman meets Mk1 Audi TT. I think the arse of the 911 is one of it's assets and while this is a RUF special I think the back doesn't quite work. I'll hold judgement until I fly past it at VMax, thinking of running the S-Line so he doesn't stand a chance if I chip it to the FULL 180!

I think you should recreate this, but with Megan Fox:

Might need to compromise on the back seat though, seeing as the CTR3 has none.
